Nadias experience of closely working with physiotherapists and osteopaths, in addition to her own history of back pain, has greatly influenced her teaching approach. She is trained and experienced in working with a wide range of conditions, such as back pain, osteoporosis, arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and scoliosis. Acute back pain led Deb to Pilates, and she hasn’t looked back since (no pun intended). She is a level 3 Pilates teacher, training with Body Control Pilates –Europe’s largest professional Pilates organisation – and is qualified to teach mat Pilates from beginners to intermediate level.

Deb is committed to the Pilates Method as a way of alleviating pain, improving posture and muscle tone and preventing injury. She firmly believes her role as a teacher is to increase understanding of our own bodies – range of movement, strengths, weaknesses, and how everything connects together in a holistic way. Her aim is to teach how to make our bodies work for us rather than against us.

Kate qualified early 2017 from her 200 YTT with Zuna Yoga in Bali, and is Globally Yoga Alliance Certified.

With a strong foundation in Hatha Asana, Pranayama, and Meditation, her classes are dynamic, designed to move and explore the body and breath, and filled with happy energy bringing timeless yoga traditions to busy modern lives.

Before training to be a Yoga teacher, Kate has worked in the advertising and digital marketing industry for 12 years, and also runs a regular Yoga Brunch combining all the best things in life:- physical practise, mental stretching, fancy dress, amazing music, delicious nutritious food…and of course the party spirit.

Laurie began practicing yoga over 10 years ago. Finding an awareness of body, mind and breath she began to see life in a different way. This sense of balance and wholeness is what keeps her coming back to her mat.

Having undertaken various trainings in India and Australia she finally completed her 200 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with the wonderful teachers Gerry Rixen and Mario Sarugi in 2016.

She teaches classes that develop strength and flexibility, lifting and lengthening the mind and body with an emphasis on correct alignment. Through asana, pranayama and guided relaxation the focus is on calming the mind and slowing down. She encourages people to connect with their bodies, to listen and to respect where they are in the moment.

Practicing many branches of yoga such as Sivananda, Iyengar, Jivamukti, Vinyasa and restorative Yoga, Laurie weaves these influences into her classes.
