HATHA YOGA improves flexibility, physical strength, concentration and balance through a series of fluid sequences, held postures, breathing and relaxation techniques. Postures are modified depending on your level so it is suitable for beginners and those with more experience.
HATHA FLOW is a creative mix of flowing sequences and challenging postures alongside meditative, sustained postures and Pranayama. This dynamic style harmonizes breath and movement bringing strength, grace and freedom to the body.
ASHTANGA YOGA is an athletic, energetic system of postures and breathing in a continuous fluid sequence known as Vinyasa. You will learn the sequence of the primary series and the basic breathing and internal locking techniques. Cllasses will be a combination of lead, group practice and Mysore style self practice in which students are given individual guidance.
PREGNANCY YOGA is a gentle class to develop strength, flexibility and breath awareness for mothers to be. Yoga practice during pregnancy may help to relieve back pain, strengthen the pelvic floor and reduce fluid retention. Specialist guidance for birth preparation from an experienced teacher and a time for tea and a chat.
PILATES is a gentle, non-aerobic exercise method which lengthens and strengthens the muscles and improves core stability and posture without stressing the joints or the heart. Pilates helps to re-educate the brain and the body to address muscle imbalance and restore good posture. Beginners classes will introduce students to the basic principles and exercises. Intermediate classes will build from the basics to incorporate more challenging sequences.
