Beatrice Barbareschi was introduced to yoga while studying contemporary dance in sunny Northern California. Her interest in connecting body and mind through a mindful, physical and spiritual practice led her to learn from yoga teachers all around the world - from San Francisco to New York City, through Chicago and Durham, and finally to Europe, in London and Milano. Beatrice received her 200 hour yoga teacher certification at New York City's OM Yoga Centre and her teaching style is mainly modeled after Cyndi Lee's OM Yoga - a creative and dynamic combination of the Ashtanga, Iyangar and T.K.V. Desikachar yoga traditions. Beatrice teaches Vinyasa Hatha Yoga, a dynamic and strengthening style of yoga that emphasizes the linking of movement and breath. Each class involves a new and creative series of asanas (poses), with the objective to create a balanced practice for the students. In her teaching, Beatrice combines hands-on adjustments and oral instruction with a strong emphasis on mindfulness and precision. Beatrice is passionate about teaching and is thankful for all the wonderful teachers and students that have crossed her path. You can visit Beatrice at beatriceyoga.com.
